daily communication
These days the screen pretty much dictate my everyday life. I mean as soon as I wake up, the first thing I do is to grab my cellphone and check messages, social media, news. This creates an instant connection but at times it makes me so distracted to the point that I can't even have meaningful interaction with people around me first thing in the morning. In the evening, I chill in front of the TV which not only helps me to destress but at the same time it can be like the trigger for a nice family conversation however the fact that this is pretty much a passive way of doing things that could be easily replaced by real talk without even realizing it is something that should be definitely taken into consideration. Both actions here are pretty clear examples of how communication is very much influenced by the use of technology in my case the mobile phone is giving me the chance to be always in touch with others, on the other hand though creates the problem of information overload first thing in the morning, while watching TV is the way I have for entertainment at night but leaves the interaction to be just one way. Looking back at these, I found that I must change my ways better to use the phone only after I have gotten ready and partying a TV session with some good quality talking in order to achieve my desire that technology be my connection facilitator and not a dictator of my time.
