Professional development

As a student, I have attended several seminars and events that helped enhance my knowledge and skills in my course. The first was the 2nd Regional Congress, held on April 4, 2024, a three-day event for BSOA students. As a first-year student from the Buhi campus, this experience served as a foundation for understanding our program. It included competitions, discussions, and games that allowed us to enjoy while learning more about our field.

Another seminar I attended was the Water Search and Rescue Operation (WASAR 2025) organized by CTHBM, held at the CSPC Gymnasium on March 6, 2025. This event focused on disaster preparedness, especially for earthquakes and floods, with guest speakers from the Coast Guard. We learned important survival skills such as CPR and safety measures during and after disasters.

I also attended the 3rd Regional Congress for Administrative Professionals last year, which was a memorable and enjoyable experience for us BSOA students. It provided valuable learning, insights, and opportunities to connect with others while enjoying various activities and programs. However, the recent Regional Congress was held in Catanduanes and Pangasinan, and we were not able to attend this time due to financial constraints.

In addition, I participated in the ASOG TBI (Technology Business Incubator) Awareness Campaign together with Kennette Leria. This seminar focused on e-commerce and modern technologies like e-wallets. One of the highlights was a group activity where we created our own application idea. Our group developed a concept for an offline e-wallet that could work without internet access, making the experience both enjoyable and educational.

Lastly, before the end of our second year, we attended events organized by third-year BSOA students. These included a Symposium about stenography, which helped us understand its importance and role in society. We also joined the Corporate Fashion Show as part of our Personal and Professional Development subject, where we showcased professionalism through proper attire. The event concluded with the CMLE (Convergence of Legal and Medical Office) Procedures Through Events Management) held on May 5–6, 2025, which highlighted the integration of legal and medical office practices through event management.
