Professional development

     REGIONAL CONGRESS 2 & 3 ‎Participated in student assemblies with delegates from different schools in the region. Listened to keynote speeches, joined breakout sessions, and engaged in discussions about youth leadership and community issues. ‎Collaboration is powerful. I saw how students from different backgrounds share common goals. I learned to speak up, listen to diverse opinions, and that leadership means serving others, not just leading them.

   SYMPOSIUM ‎Attended a formal academic discussion where experts presented research or talks on a specific topic. Took notes, asked questions during open forum, and joined small group reflections. ‎How to think critically and analyze issues deeper. I learned the value of evidence-based opinions and that learning comes from listening to experts and peers alike. ‎ ‎

       FASHION SHOW ‎Either participated as a model, organizer, or audience. Helped in preparation, costume design, or stage setup. Showcased creativity through themed outfits and performances. ‎Confidence and creativity go hand in hand. I learned teamwork under pressure, time management during prep, and that self-expression is a form of communication. It also taught me to appreciate the work behind the scenes. ‎ ‎ ‎

     CWTS SEMINAR ABOUT HIV ‎Attended a Civic Welfare Training Service seminar focused on HIV/AIDS awareness. Listened to health professionals discuss transmission, prevention, testing, and stigma. Joined Q&A and advocacy activities. ‎HIV is a health issue, not a moral issue. I learned the facts about how it’s transmitted and prevented, the importance of regular testing, and why we should fight stigma. Compassion and correct information can save lives. ‎
