Professional development
As a BSOA student and currently a 3rd year college student, I have already attended several seminars that have greatly contributed to my personal and professional growth.
One of these is the 2nd Regional Congress, which I attended when I was a first-year college student on April 4, 2024. It was my first time attending such an event, and it greatly expanded my knowledge about the course I am pursuing. This is where I first learned and gained a clearer understanding of the field that I once only dreamed of something I used to see others aspire to. Now that I am already on this path, the 2nd Regional Congress helped me a lot. It allowed me to discover things I once thought I couldn’t do, but realized I actually can and will be able to achieve. The knowledge I gained from this experience is something I will carry with me and use whenever I need it in the future.

2nd RCFAP
The 3rd Regional Congress took place after the 2nd Regional Congress. At that time, I was already a second-year college student. The activities were similar to those in the 2nd Regional Congress, as they were also focused on our future career paths. We were joined by BSOA students from different schools, which made the experience even more meaningful.This 3rd Regional Congress was even better, and I truly enjoyed the event that day. Opportunities like this don’t come often, and it was a pleasure for me to attend and be part of it because I know it contributes to my growth. I believe it has greatly helped me in pursuing my dreams. Looking at where I am now, I can say that I wouldn’t be here if I hadn’t learned, listened, and applied the lessons I gained from that experience.
3rd RCFAP
I also attended WASAR 2025 (Water Search and Rescue), where we were trained to respond effectively to different emergency situations. During this seminar, we learned practical skills and proper actions to take during disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and other unexpected events. The training helped me understand the importance of staying calm, being prepared, and acting quickly in times of crisis. It also taught me how to help others and ensure safety in dangerous situations. This experience enhanced my awareness and confidence, knowing that I now have basic knowledge and skills that I can use not only for myself but also to assist others when needed.
WASAR
The symposium also had a great impact on us because the guest speaker at that time was our instructor in Steno. The event was very memorable, especially when one of my classmates participated, and we were all very proud. Our instructor was especially proud when my classmate was able to read the Steno text shown on the screen. It made me realize how fulfilling it feels to truly learn something. Even if you are caught off guard, you can still face the situation with confidence because you know that you have the knowledge and skills.
SYMPOSIUM
Lastly, the Fashion Show was held when we were in our second year, right after the symposium it took place in the afternoon. As far as I can remember, this was also the last school event I attended, which made it even more memorable for me. During that time, I felt beautiful and confident because the purpose of the event was to help us build self-confidence. It truly helped us, as we looked and carried ourselves like professionals. I realized how important it is to dress well, as it attracts attention and makes us more presentable. When we feel comfortable with how we look, we become more confident, allowing us to keep up with others and showcase our abilities. Because of this confidence, we no longer feel shy we learn to present ourselves and value who we are.

These experiences helped improved my knowledge, skills, and confidence, and prepared me for my future career. I also learned the importance of being responsible, confident, and always willing to learn, which I will use in reaching my goals.
